Emirates Transport and National Ambulance (part of National Guard Command) have renewed a two-year contract for comprehensive maintenance and repair services for ambulance vehicles. This will ensure that the critical response vehicles remain at optimum readiness to effectively deliver pre-hospital medical care to the community whenever needed.
The contract signing, held at National Ambulance’s head office in Abu Dhabi, reinforces the partnership between both organizations and their commitment to achieving optimum technical and operational requirements, while minimizing costs and fleet downtime.
The contract was signed by Alex Rentier, CEO of Emirates Transport, and Eng. Mohamed Salem Hboush, CEO of National Ambulance, in the presence of AbdelHamid Sba, Chief MRO Officer at Emirates Transport, Mohammed Bin Abadat, Supply Chain Manager, and Saeed Alkhalifi, Fleet Manager, along with a number of managers and employees from both parties.
Rentier expressed his delight at renewing the agreement, stating: “This contract renewal further strengthens the strategic relationship between Emirates Transport and National Ambulance, established since 2018, and sets the foundation for expanding the collaborations between the two parties”.
“This agreement will provide for the uninterrupted and efficient management of our fleet, and minimize vehicle downtime, enabling us to deliver on dynamic operational demands while upholding the highest standards in patient care,” added Hboush.
AbdelHamid Sba, Chief MRO Officer at Emirates Transport, stated that the agreement encompasses a comprehensive range of maintenance services, including preventive maintenance, in accordance with manufacturer specifications, as well as corrective maintenance. The contract also provides roadside support and assistance, particularly during adverse weather conditions. Additionally, the agreement covers accident repairs, spare parts inventory management, oil changes, consumables and tyre services, and waste management procedures.
